Are you grumbling?

Jesus declared in John 6:35, "I am the bread of life. He who comes to me will never go hungry, and he who believes in me will never be thirsty."

At this, the Jews began To grumble about Him because Jesus said, "I am the bread that came down from heaven." They were bothered and complaining that He was the son of Joseph, whose father and mother they knew. How could He possibly have come from heaven.
The Jews had just been fed a feast by Jesus knowing that He had miraculously multiplied it, but yet when Jesus said something controversial they were spiritually blinded by their complaining and grumbling. They couldn't even get past their thoughts of what they saw with their natural eyes to consider that God was trying to draw them to new understanding! If you are going through something today I want to encourage you to step back and ask God what He is doing. The thoughts that God has for you out number the grains of sand in the universe. He has a plan for your life and it's a prosperous plan not a harmful plan. We must trust and believe that God is continuously working on our behalf. In the natural, things may not add up correctly but God has not called us to live in the natural. He has called us to be transformed by the renewing of our minds by the washing of His word...... Jesus! Trust Him today. Seek Him today. Don't react or respond by grumbling. We will each give an account for the words we speak. I believe that tests are harder when our disbelief is involved. Grow with God. Go with God. Give God the glory even when it's hard to see the big picture!

Unshakable

Jesus knowing that they intended to come and make Him king by force, withdrew to the mountain by Himself. John 6:15


How many times have we faced situations that we have had no idea how we would make it through? Life has so many obstacles, twists, turns and set-backs. How can we possibly have the answers for them all?! When problems would arise Jesus often left the scene and would retreat to the mountains to pray. He had the power to take care of every situation but instead of impulsively reacting He knew that God had the perfect solution! Jesus remained full of the Fathers presence by continually spending time with Him. I want to encourage you today, if you are standing in a storm go to the mountain of God. Sometimes all that you have the strength to say is His name. Say it over and over.... Call out to Him. If you feel like crying..... Cry out to Him. Lay in His presence and let Him hold you tightly in His arms. If we learn to run to Him continuously His presence will carry us through and NOTHING will shake us. Run to Him today!

Thank you Lord for teaching me that when things are out of my control; when things are beyond my understanding, it's in that place that I must withdraw from the circumstances and go to your mountain and seek your face. You open me up and pour in your peace that surpasses all understanding and once again I can walk free and unafraid! Lord, there is no one like You! You are my place of safety, my shelter, my strong tower..... I love You!

Prayer

The word became flesh and made His dwelling among us. We have seen His glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth. John 1:14

We honor you today Jesus! Words could not express how thankful we are for all that you have done. Open our hearts today to a greater awareness of you. Through You all things were created, and without You nothing was made that has been made. You came to the world and even though the world was made through You, we did not even recognize You. You came to that which was Your own but Your own did not receive You. Lord, I repent for all the times that I didn't recognize You coming to me in my life. I repent for all the times that I failed to see Your active presence. Lord, I repent for all the times that I had my own agenda instead of seeking Your beautiful face. Thank You Jesus (the Word of God my Father made flesh) for drawing my undeserving heart to Yours. Thank You for so unselfishly GIVING us because of our belief in You, the right to become children of God! Not born of natural descent nor human decision but BORN OF GOD! Born of God! I praise You Jesus Christ! You purchased us with the priceless gift of Your life! I trust You Lord! I lift your name up today... Jesus! Thank You for all that You have done! May we understand it even more, may we live for You even greater, may we say or do something more today to bring You glory! I praise You Jesus! All glory, honor and praise belong to You!

World Changers

John 4:39
Many of the Samaritans believed in the Lord because of the woman's testimony.



When the Samaritan woman encountered Jesus, it changed her life. She was so radically impacted that she went and shared her testimony with everyone that she knew. The woman invited all that she passed to come and meet Jesus. She passionately shared that He knew everything about her, but yet He loved her anyway. In His presence all of her sins were exposed. In that transparent place, the Samaritan woman now had room in her heart to receive what Christ had for her. He then taught her how to truly worship Him and offered His living water that would never run dry. He said that "Whoever would drink of this water, would never thirst again!"


The towns people were so moved by the woman's testimony that they believed at once that this was the Christ. They went with her to see Him and to encounter Him for themselves. John 4:41 says, "And because of His words many became believers."


How powerful is it that! The people believed and had to encounter for themselves the presence of Jesus just by hearing the woman's testimony! They knew that the Lord would expose their sin but the transformation that happened in the woman was far greater to them than that. After the people met Jesus they told the woman in verse 42 "We no longer believe just because of what you said; now we have heard for ourselves, and we know that this man really is the Savior of the world."


God gives us testimonies so that we can share them. It's the true life changing stories and God encounters that lead people to want what Christ has. We must reveal His character to the world. We must give them a taste of the living water that flows from inside of us. You never know who is listening! Share what Christ has done for you! You are the mouth-piece of God, a life touched by the hand of the Lord! Reach out today! Be a world changer for Christ!

What are you saying?

The word "blessing" in Greek (eulogia) literally means 1. A God given gift causing our work to succeed. 2. God's presence with us. 3. God giving us strength, power and help. 4. God working in and through us to do good. The first thing that God did in relation to humanity was to "bless" His creation. The Lord sustained His work by blessing it. The life and history of God's people are affected by blessings and curses. Jesus even blessed the little children. Can you just imagine with me for a moment Jesus Christ placing blessings on the children and what favor He had put upon them? Everything that these children touched would now prosper. God had clothed them with strength, power and help from heaven.

How many of us are guilty of speaking curses on our children? You never mind.... Your so disobedient....... You have a smart mouth.....
Does this sound familiar? Let's turn our speech to words of life and blessings over our children. We will begin to see them soar by releasing the presence of Jesus Christ to work in their lives. We as parents are our children's covering. Let's cover them with favor, power, strength, love and help from God! Speak this declaration over your children every morning and night. You will begin to see things change:

My children are blessed and highly favored by the Lord Jesus Christ. His cleansing flow of blood covers them from the top of their heads to the bottom of their feet. Nothing that is against God can come near my children. The angels of the Lord encamp around my children keeping them in safety everywhere they go. The spirit of the Lord lives and dwells in them bringing life and perfection to their entire bodies. They are well, 100% whole, they have peace of mind and body. The face of our Lord Jesus Christ shines upon them and they thrive in the presence of Jesus every second of every day! In Jesus name! Amen!

Living loved

Some of you feel hopeless and are wondering why you even exist....
Revelation chapter 4 says that, "God created all things, and by His will they were created."
The Almighty God of the universe, by HIS WILL created you! He blew His breath of life into you! He wanted you, He desires you, He loves you! You are His precious possession! Let Him love on you today...... He is waiting with arms opened wide!

Always pray and never give up!
Would you put your children off if they came to you for guidance, help or protection?
God loves you more than you could ever love your own children.... Now that's a PERFECT love!

Go to the Lord today. See yourself in His arms. Pour your heart out to Him. I assure you that He is waiting with arms open wide....

God is our refuge and strength, an ever present help in trouble. Therefore, I will not fear... The Lord Almighty is with me...

Pilgrimage

Pilgrims crossed an ocean to establish a place where they were free to practice their religious beliefs. Serving God is not always easy and I believe that the pilgrims didn't find it an easy task to cross the ocean either. They soared across the many waters drawing on the strength of the Lord at every turn. They were determined to dwell in a place where God could be the center of their living!
I ask myself how far will I press to live and dwell in the presence of my King? How many obstacles is too many before I would give up? Could you imagine the pilgrims deciding half way across the ocean that they would turn back or just stop? Better yet what if Jesus being beaten stopped and decided that He would go no farther!

I ask you today to search your heart and draw from the strength of God. Determine to sail across raging seas if that is what it takes but, never, ever turn from seeking His marvelous face! Better is one day in His courts than a thousand elsewhere!! For the Lord God is our sun and shield; He bestows favor and honor and no good thing does He withhold from those whose walk is blameless!

Blessed are those whose strength is in You, who have set their hearts on pilgrimage....
They go from strength to strength, till each appears before God in Zion. Psalms 84:5-7

Work for peace..... Work isn't easy but tools sure make it easier!
Let GRACE be your tool today- it's sufficient for all our needs!

Thinking

Jesus said that It is not what goes in a person that defiles them, It's what comes out. Our thoughts are seeds that produce a harvest.


I want to challenge you today to let your minds be renewed by the washing of the Word. Think on things that are lovely and praise worthy! Your thoughts will produce a crop of what your thinking and dwelling on.
Produce life, produce love, produce faith and hope.......

That's what living abundantly is all about!

Remember that love is patient and kind. Love does not keep a record of wrongs, it always protects, trusts, hopes and always perseveres.
Let's challenge ourselves today to be slow to anger, and to look for the best in each other. Remember that the Lord see's the best in you.

Peters accent

Peter was recognized as belonging to Jesus by the sound of his voice. In Matthew 26 the servant girl said, "Surely you belong to Jesus, I can tell by your accent."
How powerful is that? Peter had spent so much time with the Lord that the sound of his voice reflected it!

Lord this is my prayer today, that each one of us can reflect your sound. Let our voices resound your character, your influence, your love, your being! In that Lord people can't help but recognize you. There was no denying who Peter belonged to. Even before the servant girl heard Peters voice she knew that he belonged to the Lord. Peter had spent so much time with Christ that he not only sounded like Him but he also reflected His light.

Let's spend so much time with the Lord that everything about us shines that we are His! Our words, our faces, our hearts, our character, our accent- it displays our origin, where we are from, who we belong to: made in His image from the inside out, reflecting the Son, shining on the world!

Knowing where to go

David had many trials and a flood of troubles in his life. He often had to leave all that he knew to seek a safe place. He knew that no matter the situation, as long as he looked to the Lord for the answers and direction of what to do, he would be fine. When you make decisions on your own, the outcome is always insecure. When God determines our outcome it is stable and unshakable. Many are the troubles of the rightous but the Lord delivers him everytime! Everytime, everytime, everytime!! Not sometimes but everytime! Be not afraid, seek His will in all you do and He will show you which path to take!

Stormy weather

Friends, I know there are things that your going through that have you gripped with fear and hoplessness. I want to encourage you today that Jesus is walking on top of the storm and is standing right in front of you. He's waiting for you to take your eyes off of fear and to place them on His face. You may not recognize Him, but I can assure you that Hes there. Take your eyes off of your situation for a moment, and look to the Lord. Let Him lead you safely to shore.

Jesus will walk through raging seas to save you. You don't even have to call Him. His love for you is so great that it leads Him to you.
Look up, Hes reaching for your hand!

The eyes of the Lord are on those who fear Him, on those whose hope is in His unfailing love. He will deliver them from death and keep them alive in famine. Psalms 33:18-19

If you look to God and place your trust in Him, you no longer have to worry when troubles come your way. Yes, even money troubles! The Lord promises to keep you alive and give you everything you need in those times. His Word actually says that you will lack no good thing!! Be excited today, look to the hope of your ENTIRE future!! Deliverance is on it's way!

I don't mean to say that I have already acheived these things or that I have already reached perfection. But I press on to possess that perfection for which Christ Jesus first posessed me. No dear brothers and sisters, I have not acheived it, but I focus on this one thing: forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead, I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Jesus Christ is calling us. Let us all who are spiritually mature agree on these things. If you disagree on some point, I believe God will make it plain to

Going deeper in intimacy with the Lord is a process. As you enter His presence today, ask Him to reveal to you something in yourself that needs to be surrendered to His control. The word says, "Worry about nothing but instead pray about everything thanking God for what He has done." As you give God access to all the places in your heart and life, your relationship with Him will go so deep that you will start to look like Him, walk like Him and you will recognize that your beginning to talk like Him! All the things that you used to do will fade away. His desires will become your desires.

With the measure you give, the measure you will receive. Give God a greater access to your life today..... It's life changing!

I know first hand that doing this will change the course of your day, and it will also change your mood to a joyful one! Don't stop at one time, keep going throughout the entire day! Post back here an encouraging word for others of your progress!

Be blessed as you recreate the atmosphere around you. The atmosphere changes to God's atmosphere when praises are lifted up.

When a person has tasted something they lift their hands and put the food in their mouth. Is it possible that we have spiritual blindness because people refuse to dine with the Lord? Just because you know the word it doesn't mean that you know what the Lord tastes like. Satan knows the word! To have opened eyes spiritually you have to look for God. Go to His table and partake of His fruit! Talk with Him. Open your heart so that the King of glory can come in.
Intimacy is the key!

Thank You Lord for loving me enough to change me! Thank You Lord for saving me from my past hang ups, mess ups, strongholds, addictions, and thoughtless actions. Thank You Lord for not only saving me but for transforming my mind and removing all of my guilt and shame! Because of Your love and because that you looked beyond all of my faults and led me to what I needed, I will never, ever be the same again! Father, I pray that as people read this posting that they will be overwhelmed with hope and Your unfailing love. Father that their thinking will be transformed into a knowing that You are our strength. You are the only way to Permanant change.

Go to Him as you are today... His love never fails!

I Cant fix it! HELP!

As Christians we feel as though we have to fix everything about ourselves, and then go to God. As you know to well, this is a completely un-obtainable task! This type of thinking keeps us in a viscous spiraling cycle of hopelessness! It will keep you full of shame and it will always push you to run from God never fully giving Him your all. Giving the Lord your all, means giving Him the good, the bad, and the down-right ugly!

I want to encourage you today by telling you about the gift of Grace. Grace is the empowerment that Christ gives us to overcome. The grace of God is always sufficient and contains everything that you will need to accomplish what is being asked of you. The Lords grace abounds which means: if you go to God how you are, in complete weakness asking Him to grant you the grace (the power) to overcome...... He will..... and will continue to, as you come to Him in each and every situation. The Lord never promised that things would be easy, but He did promise to be with you through it all..... Just ask!
Start out each day praying for the perfect amount of grace that you will need to make it. God will not deny you His word. The Bible says, "you have not because you ask not." When you ask and believe in your heart it activates the promises of God on your behalf!!! Ask, believe, receive!!



God is a good God and wants you to live a life of abundance!!

Sometimes it takes confrontation to bring about peace in our lives. Confrontation with ourselves, our fears, our short-comings, doubts, and sometimes even confrontation with those we love. Faceing the impossible, seeking Gods strength and persevering toward the perfect plan that the Lord has for you is what brings freedom. Facing ourselves and the giants in our lives head on is what brings victory and freedom from the ways of the world. God is in the business of restoring us from the inside out. You are his masterpiece! His desire is for you to let go of all that you know and to allow Him mold, recreate, and carry you into His perfect likeness!

Freedom

When Jesus died on the cross and took the keys of hell from Satan......there was an earthquake.

When the stone in front of the tomb rolled away and Jesus arose from the dead.... There was an earthquake! When Paul and Silas were in the jail praising and pouring their hearts out to God, the walls fell and they were released.... There was an earthquake!
I see significance everytime the earth was shaken..... Freedom and deliverance followed the shaking!

When the earth moves, things are happening in the unseen. God has a plan and His plans always come to pass. I want to encourage you today that if you have situations in your life that are shaking, look to God. There is a stillness in surrendering your life to His control. Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom! Lift your hearts to God today- He has deliverance instore for you!

Its a Real Love!

God is good all the time! My prayer for you today is that, you will experience the overwhelming, unfailing love of God. May it go deep into your hearts and consume every part of your being! You are worth everything to God. He gave up His life just to be with you. He lavished His love on all that He has created! It is demonstrated in the smile from a stranger, It's poured upon you by the hugs of your children. God is love.......

Accept it today, Its a love that no other could compare!

Have no fear.... Jesus is here!

Be strong and courageous. For the Lord your God goes with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you. Deut 31:6

So many times in life we feel our difficulties are just too much to bear. Consumed with fear, worries, doubt, frustration, confusion and pain! From every direction all you see is defeat! I promise you that... there is a way to overcome and experience joy again! The Lord promises that if you look to Him believing that He can, and WILL turn things around for your good, it will be done. Maybe not in the fashion or timing that we see fit but, God has a perfect unfailing way of restoring, rearranging, and reparing our brokeness. The scripture above is so true! You will NEVER have to go through anything alone! Even though you may not realize He is there, the Bible says that He is as close as the mention of His name! Be courageous, I know your Heavenly Father has life and love stored up for you today..... All you have to do is call His name!! Be blessed!
